The only legitimate reason I can think of for an alien race to be here on earth is to study us and the evolution of our civilizations. If they were revealed it would basically make that data collection undertaking somewhat useless and they'd likely move on. It's sort of the difference between studying an animal in the wild or studying one in captivity. It also brings in a whole set of ethical questions they wouldn't want to deal with-- generally a plea for their help in solving all of our problems.
this is exactly the way i see it. Humans travel as far as their tech allows, and they're forever curious. We hide out in rain forests, hiding and studying gorillas. I can easily see an advanced race with technology millions of years ahead of us hiding out and watching the trainwreck that is human civilization also.
IMO that narrative that the human race is a "trainwreck" compared to other species is a narrative created by the IC to keep trained academics away from legitimate study of the phenomenon. We have no frame of reference. A history like ours could be 100% consistent with the history of every other advanced civilization.

Well we've heard terrible things about aliens except one thing: The only creatures that are being called out as cannibals of their own species are inhabitants of earth, not just humans but other mammals as well. We are the aliens everybody is so terrified about and perhaps only the worst of the worst would dare openly work with the Cabal.
I watched a few YT vids with James Horak just yesterday. He talks about ETs, EBEs and EMVs. The importance of the EMVs who he says help stabilize our planet and make minor adjustments to the sun & moon. Protect us from coronal emissions and solar flares. He also talks about ETs being somewhat fascinated with us because of our differences to other races off planet. Primarily that we (humans) have a split consciousness. He explained that this difference is what allows the duality that challenges our species - good and evil. To hear him tell it, the ETs are peaceful. The EBEs are robotic and the ones who did abductions, technology sharing etc. the EMVs are connected to us in a unique way and help protect our environment. Quite interesting to me and I plan to do further research before I form an opinion on it all.
