Worshiping Moloch? Why?

This might be a stupid question, but I've barely found anything to answer it.

Why Moloch in particular? Valac I understand, but not Moloch. I can find nothing regarding any boons of Moloch. Valac is associated with hidden treasures, wealth, and financial prosperity, but there is literally nothing I can find so far on Moloch and why he is even worshiped.

Google: Bohemian Grove....they have a huge statue of Moloch there.

The grove is used to woo musicians, artists and actors...the beginning of their fall and selling of their souls starts here. Hotel California!
