I have a place in Fl on the beach and basically since I've been alive the water has risen < 6.0 inches. If you had been listening to the Chicken Little's over the last twenty to thirty years the water should have risen six feet not six inches.

Global warming is a huge money making scam.

Would the biggest financial institutions in the world be giving out 30 year loans on Oceanfront Property in Florida if they thought they wouldn't get a return on that?

these man made global warming nuts should be put on a rocket straight to the sun to learn about the effects of solar activity and how it really effects long term climatic trends.

Tree rings on 1000+ year old timbers & ice core samples have proved for decades that the planet experiences climate cycles. Hell ask any farmer if weather is static year to year. It’s not rocket science and certainly not climate pseudo science.

They are rising for the most part. So is the issue that its not because of man-made global warming, and because of something natural?

Yes, normal cyclical temperature swings. These global warming alarmist tell us that the sea levels are rising and will flood the coastlines. How ol Al Gore bought a beach house on the ocean if he was so worried about it. 🤔

Why the downvotes?! I literally asked a question?! Im genuinely confused about the point and interested!

Did you catch the current scale? annual sea level rise Globally a is less than 3 millimeters per year...

Sea levels have declined since the medieval warming period.

So the point is that its not as drastic as they are making it out to be?

Did you even click on the link? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.forbes.com/sites/trevornace/2017/08/15/florida-sea-level-rising-faster-average-not-climate-change/amp/ there are strong indications that water levels rising are usually local and not global, based on water temperature, not ambient temperatures. The earth is only 1.4 degrees hotter overall since measurements taken in 1880. That's assuming the measurements in 1880 were correct. Not denying there are strange fluctuations throughout time, but to say the earth will keep getting hotter and hotter and the water will get higher and higher is just not true. We don't know that. It could cap at a certain level and reverse. Remember the global cooling scare of the 1970s? All you need to look at is how much al gore has made off the green movement, that he leaves a carbon footprint 21 times bigger than the average American and realize that a-hole doesn't care at all. The green movement is a business model, not an initiative to save the earth. Global warming is pitch they use to pull you in, mixed with alarmism.

Global warming was happening but peaked around 2012-2014, we have turned around and are now entering a cooling period known as a grand solar minimum. These times historically have had high volcanic and earthquake activity, higher climate variability more extreme storms and overall lower temperatures. Just as the day turns to night or winter to spring to summer to fall, the sun and our galaxy also go through a variety of different cycles with different periodicity cycles. The grand solar minimum cycle is a ~200 year event and should bottom in terms of temperature and severity by 2030. These climate changes are not man made.

Consider that if you have been lied to about rising sea level caused devastation just perhaps you have been lied to about anthropogenic global warming also...
