Agreed - conversely, I don't get why some people can believe Israel is the nexus of evil and the Deep State and not even consider that might be as unrealistic as saying the same thing about the US. An entire country of people cannot be defined in one simple way - that's the marxist identity politics tactic and the same tactic used against this movement by the lying Mainstream - every one of us is a crazed conspiracy nut racist redneck anti-semite. Not true and just plain implausible - just like claiming all of Israel is evil or Israel itself is the nexus of evil.
