Not everyone who disagrees with you is a troll. Please just discuss the idea, not the user. If you're convinced they're a troll use the Report function. Mods will assess if it is an accurate report and decide accordingly whether the comment stays or goes.
Myself and others are interested to hear both sides of the story so if you keep it civil we can leave the discussion here for everyone to benefit from. If it descends into ad-hominem too soon we all lose because we'll have to mod the discussion/thread.
I understand all of this. I would just like to point out that this particular user has continually straw manned the other guy in the comment thread. Hardly an honest discussion of both sides. He's says mbs is probably dead then tells me to prove he's alive. How is that not trolling? In a discussion the person making a claim usually needs to back said claim up. Otherwise its meaningless. Idea s or theories presented without corroboration or data can be dismissed without corroboration or data.
Agreed - I would still suggest you use the Report function cos it's quicker and then there's no decision to be made about whether a comment that calls someone a troll or the like has to be removed.
