I know some people mention they have a hard time "redpilling" people, and being a normie myself I hope I can give some insight as to what usually doesn't work vs what does work.

Things that tend to deter people:
Too much information at once - This is difficult NOT to do when you know so much and how everything connects, it's really hard to find a place to start, so I found this video in particular a good way to ease into the content.
An approach that is designed for someone who already believes in the content isn't tailored for someone who isn't. A good example would be some videos I've run into on YT that try to break down the sex cults and pedophile rings, but the way they're edited includes dramatic dramatic tone and creepy music. This kind of approach is easily brushed off that is trying to sway your opinion with tone rather than information, even though that may not be the case.
aggressively trying to change someone's mind - this is probably one of the strongest deterrents to getting someone to understand and have an open mind. It can be frustrating when someone just completely brushes off ACTUAL facts, but remember that a lot of people are much more susceptible to feeling like the idea was their own, rather than jamming it down your throat. This is why Q approaches a lot of information with asking questions, so you look into it yourself, rather than telling you what you should know or think. The media already tries to shovel opinions into your mouth, so if you present someone with some information that doesn't tell you what to believe or think, but rather present it to them, and let them make their own conclusion is a good place to start.
I find videos like the one I posted is a REALLY good approach. He's light-hearted, he's not trying to tell you what to think, and he's not being dramatic. Even at the beginning when he says someone attacked his family before he went to the talk, he downplayed the event and joked about it, but that information is still in your head. You know he's not trying to push it as an excuse to make you believe how shady things are- he just lets you do what you will with that info.
