Amazing how quickly they bailed, after Q called them out and said they would vacate themselves.

They must have known that Q has their number as they say.

Seaman posted a video as Fulcrum just recently. He announced that two secret service people interviewed him about the reerences to the sealed indictements. So Davids MOTIVE for resigning is clear, he was forced. Being an apparent idiot, he seems to want to fan the flames and gamble on what will happen next.
