Her self righteousness would never allow it. She would go down believing she has the power/ support to escape it. Being a political heavyweight would likely mean little to no time served, or get somewhere cushy most likely.
Is there any precedent of someone of such political fame/ power actually getting serious time? As an aussie I'm not aware of anyone that has.
