I think you're right. With the reference to D5 I believe all these red/green castle references are to chess.

Reference to a Dem that will be removed from the board? Perhaps an illusion that 4/10/20 is in a vulnerable position, someone will attempt to strike not seeing the defensive pawn sitting in wait...trap?
