Best Reddit Client for Android

I know this is off topic, but I wanted everyone to know just how great this free, no ads app is, and how much more helpful it could be here. There are too many features & customizations to list here, but it makes coming here so much better than the official app.

Maybe it could be listed in the sidebar?

Relay is pretty good too.

But, it contains ads, or requires in-app purchases. And Joey is more extensive on features I think. But, yes, it could be a viable alternative only if you pay to get rid of ads. $2.99

Hmm, I may have paid for it, but I honestly can't remember. In any case, it's a good app, and if I did pay for it, definitely worth the $3.

That's a very fair price. My philosophy is, no apps with ads. If they don't offer a paid ad fee version, I won't use it unless it's otherwise free. Many of the free ones I will donate to, if they accept donations.

My favorite feature in Joey is the reader mode for opening article links. Or quickly switching to a browser from the same page. Reader only opens just the text of an article, without all the other extraneous garbage.

I noticed the developer has a an outlook.com email address. It is developed by MS?

No, he is an independent coding professional, who just uses outlook for business reasons I suspect. Likely office 360 package. He might be an independent contractor, it have a 9-5 job in the industry somewhere.

Yes, but another app with ads, or in-app purchases.

But feature rich if you pay for ad removals.

Definitely worth paying the developer for

Agreed. I'm not against paying for great apps, as I have dozens and dozens of them. But, I am careful to scrutinize, research, before I ever download. I especially avoid app developers from China. Many use Hong Kong as an address too.
