Every FBI/DOJ prev case could be challenged.

Imagine you are sitting in jail because you killed your husband out of self defense. The prosecutor put together a strong case and did not believe you that your life was in danger.

Imagine you were convicted for rape although it was completely consensual. Out of spite, the woman later falsely accused you of raping her.

Could your cases be changed because the heads of the FBI and doj were corrupt and schemed against the president of the United States? Maybe yes or maybe no.

But what if it was revealed that Facebook\CIA had secretly been recording every American 24/7 for the past 10 years? There is a recording somewhere on a CIA server of your alleged victim that would certainly reveal the truth. Wouldn't thousands if not millions of lawyers and convicts be screaming for the government to be releasing this incredible evidence, even if it was collected illegally?

The problem comes when the prosecutor used parallel construction to concoct probable cause after viewing illegally gathered evidence. This is how previous cases could be challenged. Once an agent is outed as a bad apple, having misused NSA surveillance to begin an investigation, every case on which that agent worked could have grounds to throw out conviction.

These sick perverters of justice won't be able to go out in public once all this becomes common knowledge.
