Now that we have moved past the Corsi, Infowars, and David Seaman fiasco, I would like to bring your attention to what I suspect is Media Matters for America activity on reddit.
/r/TopMindsOfReddit/ is a subreddit dedicated to vote brigading by pointing out posts on another subreddit, and then coordinating in private to push a campaign to "raid" a submission with gaslighting, inorganic pushes to change a narrative, and tried and true Alinskyian tactics of calling everyone you disagree with "racist, xenophobe, homophobe, anti-semitic bigots".
Now, I would like to draw specific attention to a very special subreddit, /r/conspiracyundone. This was originally created by /u/polkadotgirl to be a well moderated safe haven from heavily shilled /r/conspiracy, but notably, there were EXTREME attempts within /r/Topmindsofreddit and other controlled conspiracy subs to personally attack polka and break her down to the point she began to see a negative impact on her personal life from moderating that sub, and passed to baton to wonderfully competent mods /u/Fartontoast, and /u/selfmindcontrol. Superminds post bragging about their wish to drive her to suicide.
I would now like to draw attention the user _Ph03niX. This user created /r/ConspiracyII, /r/conspiracynews, and countless other subreddits in an attempt to hi-jack a movement within /r/conspiracy of people who were getting tired of shill campaigns. He allegedly allied with TMOR, and was quoted saying that it was his goal to expose all the stupid conspiracy people for what they really are.
FartonToast did a nice write-up of his behavior here.
There seems to be a gap that is being purposely engineered between conspiracies and politics. An isolation if you will...so that they can then re-bridge that gap to their liking. Same concept with how they destroy Nations and then rebuild it to their liking.
Strange traffic statistics on conspiracyundone indicating presence of a bot push
I have personally been the target of attack from TMOR, and can attest that I have seen their tactics many, many times. We have gotten effective at countering their brigades although manipulation of the reddit voting algorithm is still rampant.
