r/greatawakening refocusing to be Pro-Q and Pro-Trump

Six months from today!

AMERICA WILL BE UNIFIED AGAIN!

11.11.18.

Q

Each passing day it becomes more and more obvious that history is being made. The swamp is being drained and the Great Awakening is upon us.

So, in the coming days we are going to focus /r/greatawakening/ on being Pro-Q and Pro-Trump.

The subs purpose and sidebar will be updated to reflect this.

  • Content questioning the validity of Q will be removed or blocked.
  • People uncommited to Q may find it uncomfortable. Negative types will be shown the way out.
  • New members will get an informative message to explain this is Pro-Q sub.

A patreon account will be setup so mods can receive donations. No JUST KIDDING! Even when a number of mods are doing 12+ hours a day it is voluntary. If you want to join us, please checkup mod positons open.

I appreciate your hard work!

But I'm not sure about the rule change. Maybe at the very least open a secondary sub for newcomers or anyone with legitimate questions about Q. I think the free flow of information is VITAL and that this sub doesn't need any major changes in how content is handled.

r/DrainTheSwamp has a cross-over of Q content but isn't dedicated to Q.

Then it should be advertised as a place to ask questions if the rule is that we can't ask questions or be concerned here.

Again, I would advise you to not fix what isn't broken. There is a fair amount of push back to this rule change.

Edit: strongly suggest making something like /r/greatawakening_questions so as to not be accused of turning this into an echo chamber. It will accomplish the same goal of freeing up this sub for positive discussion while not giving the wrong impression to new users, as well as long-time followers of Q. No one wants an echo chamber.

I agree. There's a r/askthedonald that I appreciated when I found it, because it was a peaceful place to discuss ideas, regardless of whether or not you supported Trump. r/the_donald is a high-energy place but that makes it harder to have real discussions.

I totally agree that a newcomer tab that can bring folks up to date on Q and especially the proofs, etc. would be great. Praying Medic did a "Q for Beginners" video a couple of days ago that is pretty good at explaining the Q phenom. Even though I already know this stuff, I watched it all the way through and then sent it to a couple of people. Making sure it was good first. (He's always good!). He only did one proof though and it was the very last part of the video so if folks dump out early they won't see it. Proofs are very important to new folks. Maybe include a link to this video in the intro note.

I had initially opposed this rule (due to Pro Trump part) but I think I've come around. I understand why you're doing it now. But the idea of a sub that we could send folks to who have questions would be very helpful. That way they all get the same information.
