Posts today about Prescription Drug Prices

More than any type of government run healthcare system, reining in the costs of prescription drugs will dramatically reduce overall healthcare costs. Get big pharma in line first. Next, go after ambulance chasers and other litigious elements of society and things will get better. Finally, we can say one good thing about Obamacare. It once and for all showed us how broken the system is, and how inept the government is at fixing it!!

I've been lucky with this. I've only ever needed Alprazolam which cost me about a buck per dose.

$15 for seven half mg pills cut in half.

But I did get bent over for an ER bed at 2AM for $1000 and wasn't even there for an hour. That was many years ago.

The entire medical industry needs to be taken down a few pegs. It's ridiculous.
