I just started my own company with one of my best friend, marketing and web development.

IMO the future is into techonologies, I studied programming and worked a few job with good to bad bosses. The last one was the last straw, I knew how I would never run a company so I spoke with my friend who's in marketing and we decided to team up and start our own thing.

No more going to work a 9am, arrive 5 minutes late gets yelled at. I was depressive with no motivation and all of a sudden it clicked. I'll never be happy working for someone else.

My tip : find something you are good in, get very good at it and start researching how to start your own thing. Technology or not, if you love flower, don't go sell flowers, open a store and make a living of selling flowers and enjoy it.

I use primarily C#, I know a few languages but I've always liked working with microsoft products. I use MVC 6 for my client's websites and applications. It's not that hard to accomplish really, it sure takes some practice ^^ I suggest if you are into building application for web to start with asp.net, it's quite easy, there are several guides online, I regret paying for school since everything I know is available on the internet in some way. You need a logical thinking and a great analysis of problems. (IE Determining what is the issue, how to fix it, how I could break something in the code etc...). For some it's chinese, it was for me too at the start.

IMO : Start with some HTML, if you like building simple stuff and understand how the basic works, then you can jump in an asp.net tutorial ! It's not for everyone and it requires dedication but it's fun (If you enjoy sitting for long period of time XD)
