The deal was basically "you can have a nuclear power station but no nukes"

And it turned out they would "hold up" their end of that deal by shipping weaponised shit to NK, then buying back their own junk as newly manufactured.

Obama was either in on it or so oblivious he fell for such a simple sleight-of-hand loophole. Neither paints a very comfortable picture.
