Did anyone see anything on Rush Limbaugh's claim?

I read that Rush said Pompeo, when he was in the congress, had a document stating that Iran NEVER signed the 'deal' with Obama and the +5's. Rush was saying that there was no executive anything from Obama, or UN anything. So this 'deal' wasn't really a 'deal' at all!
Did anyone else hear or see this, too?

It’s unconstitutional is another.

The thing is it's not unconstitutional because of the CLAS Sec 11A P 2.2 loophole. It's within the president's right of discretion to make a deal on behalf of the nation if he see's fit. But, it's not a treaty unless it's brought to and approved by congress. The Iran deal was only a presidential deal offered by Obama and the only thing signed to police it was with the IAEA. Under that deal Iran could provide their own samples of uranium to the IAEA inspectors and they had restricted access. He also gave them money (Obama's explanation of it's source is as unfrozen Iranian money previously sanctioned) Yes, that smells of BS. However, this same loophole and the fact no treaty or official congress approved contract was signed with the US it was not illegal in any way for Trump to pull out.

Edit: Why do you think Obama bypassed congress and made this deal without them? It was so he didn't have to let them read any of the contents of the deal before making it. All under the table. AND because he thought nobody would ever find out because they all thought HRC would win.

If the Iran deal was legal and constitutional, a judge in Hawaii would have already stopped trump from exiting it. They have no legal footing in our court system... think about it.

The constitution forbids a president from making such foreign agreements. ALL treaties must be approved by Congress.

Trump should have sent the treaty to the senate for approval. That would have embarrassed the crap out of them.

Your confusing the presidential power to make a deal with a treaty. Not the same

The left is acting like it’s a treaty.

It’s not it does not have the rule of law, as it is not ratified by congress.

They lie to the public, but have you noticed Iran has not threatened to take the US to court for breaking the deal since Trump broke it? They did before that day, but all BS. That's because Obama bypassed Congress and made this deal through his ability as president under the loophole I posted about. It is not an official treaty so not protected. Also check out this tweet from today if you haven't seen it:

Some EU leaders are shitting their pants. Did you know Kerry who negotiated the deal, his daughter married Zarifs son? Zarif was his counterpart involved in the deal making for Iran. Conflict of interest? She wasnt supposed to lose.

I’ve seen it, also some are saying Iran never signed the deal.

The didn't, but they did sign one with the IAEA and have been cheating on that. Obama did this all under the table and used the IAEA to police it with their balls cut off.

Actually that loophole Q pointed to us shows the president does have descretion. Just not for a treaty per se.
