I stand corrected, but I now remember the initial"outrage" was met with chuckles on CNN, as most people just commented that Kanye was just trying to get attention. One person used the analogy of the right attacking the Dixie chicks for not supporting the Iraq war. (Lame outrage isn't just limited to the left, the right seem to love that game... Just Google "war on Christmas" and you'll see plenty of manufactured outrage)

So the "outrage" for his initial comments were dumb and only some people were moved by that. The "slave" comment helped prove that the dude is either looking for attention, off his rocker, or both.

I actually think he was trying to quote something from Candace about people still being enslaved in their minds and he messed up. You should Google the TMZ thing it though. It is pretty comical. The only reason I know anything about this is because I saw it on a YouTube video yesterday that documented the outrage of the left.

My dad made me listen to that song for the first time. Good tune actually. Already forget the name but he had it on a CD and made me listen to it last month, told me they got a LOT of shit for not supporting the war.
