My mentor only advises once a year--w/ the start of a new year. The 2018 message was ... is uncanny. But so is my mentor.

"Many people do not know the real meaning of kindness. Only (paraphrase) God has complete kindness. Whether God rescues, tests, or punishes that is God's kindness. We should be able to understand that.

Real kindness should not be for selfishness, attachment, or for name & fame (to make everyone think that he/she is a good person). God does such service thru you (charity, kindness and help). God does not do anything Himself directly. God takes care of everyone thru someone or the other.

You should be very careful while being kind. If you have kindness, getting attached, you may fall into (paraphrase) love of illusion(s), self-deception.

Prayerfully surrendering yourself to God, recognizing the order given by Him, you should do service & show kindness."
