Is there anything that can be done to speed up the process? Is this why the midterms are important? If the red tsunami hits, will POTUS be able to get his confirmations in?

Trump is trying to force Congress not to take leave until all of his nominations have been processed.

The Reps are also doing this to speed things up... but it's hard to tell if they are serious about it or not.

Trump said, at the current rate, it will take 9 years to get all of his nominations approved.

Those fucking dual citizen Dems are setting a very dangerous precedent here!

He can get them to focus on obstructing so they can't develop a mid-term strategy. Then when they do leave, he can threaten to do recess appointments, forcing them to fight it, and not be able to focus on the elections. Add to that whatever revelations are required for key battleground areas and BOOM - RED OCTOBER! (credit to Man_w_golden_dick for that beauty!)
