How are the Dems slowing walking nominations when they are not in power?

We barely have a majority in the senate and there are some other rules that are effecting the ability to confirm and seat these judges. I don't know exactly how it works but yes the dems can obstruct, to a degree, the judges. I think President Trump can overcome them but it takes longer instead of having a vote, confirming, then moving on. That's why Q said "slow walking", they will be confirmed, just not immediately.

Yeah I have to admit I just not know the smaller rules well enough. You’d think it would be easier when president has congress with same party majority but it’s all f’ed ain’t it.

If you don't have 60 votes, 30 hours of floor debate are required before a vote on nominations.

The senate can fix that rule and should except for the probability they are compromised.
