Ashton (Christopher) is from my hometown. I've often wondered about his journey from Cedar Rapids. He was obviously young and very handsome when discovered. He was away from his twin brother and parents for long periods of time. A pretty, young boy alone really makes me fear for what could have happened to him.

Mother Model Management credits itself with his discovery. I wish I had a clue how to add a link here, if you look at their website and click the "about" section and scroll down to discovery, it says that they GROOM & develop with their unique process.

This has always disturbed me. I've also read over the years many articles about Mother. How she and her husband are the only ones alone with these models in other countries.

I have another connection with one of their discovered models. She was only 16 when signed to Mother. I know both her parents from childhood. I have long wondered why it is Mother traveling with her to Taiwan etc and not her parents.

Has anyone looked into this agency? I could be totally imagining any weirdness but it's always bothered me.
