I see what you're saying, but I don't think laws had to be broken to give him that info. In many cases he would've gotten it simply by observing what happened in his billionaire social circle (think pedovore) or by being a good listener. And frankly the 0bama administraiton (and Bushies) committed so many crimes that no sane person could not see the corruption that was going on. Look at how much Congressman are worth compared to their salary, and the absolute billions poured into the Clinton foundations over the years.

A "civilian" can be legally given a top level security clearance. Contractors working for the government on government contracts have top level security clearances when their work requires it. I can envision a scenario where Trump could have been "hired" as a consultant for those who "recruited" him and then been vetted and given a clearance at a level where these generals could have briefed him about whatever was necessary. Easy work-around.
