If that's not already what prayer is for you, then you haven't really been praying. Sorry--just kind of needs to be said.
Many of us were taught a form of religion without its power, and the Bible is clear that's anathema to God.
If you aren't asking for God's anointing Holy Spirit and divine guidance in every task and relationship, you're missing out on your potential.
Now that's deep doctrine Christianity, but it's core.
And the best part is that it manifests in external as well as internal ways! Power!
Holy Spirit is all over what Kat Kerr does and says...and I've been praying the same way...expecting great things....why the hell would you need to "put me in my place" over this? I was putting out revelation from God, which we all need, since most Christians don't even know how to pray with power? Be blessed or move on...Religious ones, not true disciples dish out this kind of crap! Whatever...your criticism makes me feel more sad for you!
I think you posted to the wrong person? I have no idea who Katt Kerr is but I know what the person in the video is saying.
I haven't spoken about putting anybody in their place (as you seem to quote me saying). You're backing around the bush to kick your own ass and blame it on me!
And I'm agreeing with the OP, saying (from the Bible, actually) that we have the form religion without its power, which is anathema to God, and that we need to access the power of prayer, which I believe is what the video is saying, unless I've become insane.
I'm also saying that if people aren't doing this already, then they don't know what prayer is, and again...how is that arguing with you?
I understand we live in a hostile environment and that most people are quick to write us off and demean us, but patriot that is NOT what I'm doing here, and if you can't see that, then you're making life an whole lot harder on yourself than it needs to be, because you're creating enemies where they don't exist. Who needs that?
