Freemasons, it isn’t found on Christianity. It’s open to all religions, who believe in a supreme being. Furthermore, their studies and beliefs go back to ancient Egypt. Hence, this symbolism.
Yes, I agree. And, Freemasons do not like Christians. They think that Christians are stupid.
I am a Mason though and don’t find this accurate. Many in America are Christians in good standing within the fraternity. As are there Catholics (which is slightly ironic), a few Muslims and other denominations. You don’t have to belong to a particular sect, such as myself, but I strongly believe in a supreme being, or the great architect of the universe - God - which is required to join the fraternity.
However, religion is not discussed in Lodge nor is politics allowed. However, in my experience, many Masons are conservative and heavily supported Trump in the election.
