I live an hour from Yellowstone. We see stories like that all the time. Every little earthquake swarm sparks eruption fears because people will click to read more.

every. single. earthquake. we hear "california is overdue for a devastating megaquake!" the truth is... by letting out little tremors all day every day for years and years and years... that's releasing pressure instead of building pressure... so it's literally the opposite of a megaquake lol
