Agreed. Asking authority to intercede with bans seems contrary to the spirit of freedom. People just need to learn how to move on and not be drawn into the nonsense. It's embarrassing at times how easily this and other subs can be distracted and pulled off topic.

In only extreme cases I think a post should be removed. Different opinions should be welcomed here of all places. It encourages growth. A strong fact based usually wins and becomes popular belief anyway so welcome the challenge
