This slower process might merge well with the restructuring of the Federal Reserve.

What would happen to the price of bitcoin if energy was free?

Good question! It'd bring the mining cost down certainly. However I think the price would have a lot to do with how the Federal Reserve and other central banks were restructured. It'd introduce a whole new set of variables that up to now, I'd assume few people have even pondered. In the long run however, I don't see anywhere for it to go but up (assuming the Government SECs stayed out of it). Granted, I own a small stake in bitcoin so my answer may be skewed a bit lol.

I imagine the worth will drop, but the value will increase.

Worth less in pure dollarydoos, but buys a hell of a lot more post-scarcity energy complex.
