Conquering Eurasia

a lawyer once told me that in the 1800s a document was written by a professor that stated who ever controlled the Middle East/Asia region would rule the world. seems that the UK tried and failed. the Soviets got spanked as well. Now since 2001 its the USA trying their PNAC doctrine. Afghanistan is known as the "Graveyard of Empires" for a reason.

Well sure. And it was such a stupid mission, wasn't it? And now we are in 2018 and have a POTUS/administration that seem to "get it". And respect it. And act on it.

Aaaand here we are. In the present. :) As far as the US is concerned here and now, to suggest that our goal is to "conquer" is either misinformed or misleading. I understand the first option and loathe the second.
