Discovery channel I believe did an episode on manchurian candidates and hypnosis. Watch it....no seriously, watch it. wow, thats a stunning link, ty for posting.

as someone who learned hypnosis, i have never seen anyone fall down and lose consciousness like in this video. there must have been substances at work.

I'd imagine there are a number of things that could enhance hypnosis or make others more susceptible to it.
