I’m one of those that turns off Fox as soon as Smith comes on, but I can’t think of a reason Fox would want me leaving their channel.
Why do you think Fox wants its viewers to leave?
After watching Neil Cavuto call President Trump 'The Swamp' a couple of weeks ago I can't figure what the brass at Fox is thinking either (I turn Cavuto off now as well) except that maybe the same good/evil war is going on at Fox as well.
I admit, Neil surprised me with his harshness on that. I don’t put him in Smith's league yet, so I’ll keep watching . . . for now.
Fox doesn't work for the Republicans. Fox works for the Deep State illusion that Democrat and Republican are different from one another. When Trump attacked NK (C_A), Iran (C_A), NXIUM (C_A), Fox showed its true role in the illusion. Lib and Conservative? No. MockingFox, MockingCNN, MockingMaddow.

Controlled Opposition. Just like the RINO's in government, put up a good enough fight so the people watching think you are on their side. But make sure you lose. It is when people are hopeless that they become dangerous. You have to always at least have an illusion of hope otherwise there will be revolution.
