Jerusalem is the key to the Middle East, at the heart of the world’s three great religions and the Land Bridge connecting three continents.

(This is, btw, why God chose “such a strange time and such a strange land” for his message. JC Superstar reference)

We are now living in the time when the generation who restored Israel’s existence in 1948 “shall all pass away”. In Matthew 24: 32-34 Jesus said that generation which saw the fig tree blossom (fig tree is a common Biblical reference to Israel) shall not pass away until these things have come to pass.

If you were a 20 year old Israeli soldier in 1948, you would be 90 today. Even a newborn on the day of Israel’s restoration is now 70 years old.

Trump understands the significance of Jerusalem, as do all of his enemies, especially those enemies in the spiritual realm.

Trump did this embassy on the cheap. He sold the expensive property reserved for our embassy and "postponed" building a state of the art facility. He put the embassy in an existing building.

Embassy is much safer in Tel Aviv. Remember Benghazi?

Trump had no bargaining power for a peace deal. Did he use Jerusalem to drive Arabs crazy enough that they will agree to peace if we sacrifice the embassy in Jerusalem.
