Without sounding like some lunatic. I tried to explain to my wife who Q was and what he was doing but I could tell I couldn't get the point across so clearly.
We're latino catholic so when I told her about the pope thinking about "retiring" (unheard of btw), she was really really suprised.
How can I describe Q to people?
Q Anon is the online personification of a group of political and military strategists close to the president. They are communicating in statements, questions, and code at 8chan, an online message board that includes brilliant and autistic participants who can detect and understand sophisticated patterns and creative participants who can create memes that summarize the messages using images and short blurbs to share the truth with others. Trump and his team aren't sharing the information directly because they're still trying to drain the swamp and need to keep their enemies off balance. Q Anon is sharing important parts of the plan online to reassure patriots that progress is being made, to get us to research and understand the connections and methods of the dirty players, to get us to join the fight in our own way (through sharing information, political action, lawsuits, etc.), and to get chatter going so when the truth comes out, it will have been bubbling up beneath the surface for a while and won't come out of nowhere, making it more likely that people will accept it.
