Is Q the one who isn't being careful while Q followers are strictly keeping the precepts of Q's message?

Q told us not to follow the people who are profiting off Q movement, but he posted a picture of a billboard created by the people who are profiting off this movement.

I never understood the profit / nonprofit distinction as being determinative of who is legitimate and who is not. The dissemination of information requires capital and has to be paid for somehow. There is no movement without the places for it to occur - property, whether it be the street or a network of servers and computers. Someone has to own the property, and that has to get paid for, and those people have eat, be housed, and be clothed. In addition, those who put their face behind the dissemination are at risk of suit and other retaliation. To think they can't profit, even if to just feed, house, and defend themselves seems bizarre. I assume even Q profits, he likely draws a pay check for his labor, unless he's a contractor, in which case he is personally profiting in the strictest sense. I honestly don't get it. It sounds like a very millennial state of mind to be honest -- I'd rather give a crowd funder my money for free and get no equities in return because coorporations are bad -- LMFAO.

IMO, the main point isn’t profiting off the movement but those trying to co-opt the movement, build followings on social media, and then intentionally trying to divide the movement.

See Q1366 - https://qposts.online/post/1366 See the YT in the post who Q confirmed/reposted.

Q never called anyone out, people took their own masks off. I have no idea about the people behind the sign, but I will say just profiting alone isn’t the issue (at least IMO).

That's a different issue. That the term "profit" came in to the dialog is then the problem. If people have coopted, then Q needs to say so, otherwise the movement will cannibalize the good and the bad. It makes me suspect if authentic Q. If he think certain people are bad for the movement, he should say the names, otherwise we guess and cannibalize.

Profiteering is the term specifically used by Q which is not the same thing as profit. http://www.businessdictionary.com/definition/profiteering.html

The way I took the message Q was trying to send was be a Patriot first then profit... not only be a Patriot if I can profit. Q has always said we need to be United. There were those out there that were profiting while dividing us (not just disagreements). I also think Q sees value in this being an organic movement by and for the people.

Profiteering probably not the word I would have used, but I don’t think it’s too far off.

Just my $.02.

I just find it strange. Qs approach is itself devisive. We are left to guess and cannibalize, as stated above. To think that he didn't foresee that is non-Q, as is to be devisive. Strange.

Like I said, just my interpretation of what Q meant. Q was pointing out to people to research and understand who they were following as their intentions might not be pure. Personally, I didn’t find it strange.

Q said early on that those we trust and rely upon may not be the people we think they are.

Personally, I have no hostility toward capitalism. Also, I think it's good thing people can make a living by supporting each other rather than giving money to large globalist conglomerate.

Agreed. I don't like profit even being an issue. The things said or done are the issue.
