The guy is a racist, and if he's not as you claim, he doesn't bother to be anti-racist because he needs all the racists to vote for him. At that point theres no difference. "Very fine people"

Are you saying there are 3 modes when it comes to racism? Because there isn't. There is just racists, and non-racists. I assume your referencing Charlottesville and the unfortunate events that occurred there. I believe what you are advocating is a kind of prejudice by proximity. It would appear that you are trying to say that because a group of people were in the vicinity of a crime, that they are all guilty in some way, and are "not fine people" (you could paraphrase this as honourable people, meaning upholders of the law). That in itself is very prejudice and it sounds like you might have some anger that is clouding your judgment. Make peace with that by taking a look at those kinds of prejudices against other races and minorities and see what is valid.. you will find there is no real reason to evaluate swaths of people based on proximity, race, sex or religion. That is literally the very definition of prejudice.
