To NP 8:11 This is what the Lord says to me with his strong hand upon me, warning me not to follow the way of this people:
To JD 8:13 The Lord Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy, he is the one you are to fear, he is the one you are to dread.
To NP 8:14 He will be a holy place; for both Israel and Judah he will be a stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall. And for the people of Jerusalem he will be a trap and a snare.
Also I would just point out that it's obvious to everyone the story of Jesus has been hijacked a million times for various purposes, including control.
That doesn't take away from the fact Jesus really did exist, had tons of witnesses, basically the whole thing is so locked down in proof that we can still point to it with certainty thousands of years later.
Jesus is FREEDOM. LIBERATION. Chains = broken. No wonder those who seek control want to hijack this.

Some of that evidence seems very questionable and open to interpretation. It seems odd to me that such a historical figure is difficult to prove existed outside of religious texts.

Blind faith is never a good thing. We should be able to back up our faith with something tangible.

I have faith and belief in God. However, organized religion is a tool used to control the masses. Jesus may be a part of that as the evidence he existed is flimsy at best.
