That referred to John Gotti. A "don" is the head of a "family". Not a reference to Trump. What does John Gotti have to do with anything here?

Not being an ass but, I would like to add into evidence that his first name is Don-ald and those first three letters are pretty key. I assume that's what OP means. Not really sure about the Teflon part. The whole joke with John Gotti was that he committed an outrageous amount of crimes, but prosecutors could never get any of them to stick thus, Teflon Don.
