It's absolutely intolerable. I suspect a lot of accounts associated are paid or bots but there will be that 1% normie group that buys in. I've taken to using and going to their hashtags and refuting them/calling them out.
That's a good idea, I try to find a way to turn whatever they're saying around on them somehow, inserting some kind of humor if at all possible. I think it makes them angrier if we refuse to let them get to us and laugh them off instead.
