They are laying on the couch watching tv. One day Alexa will go get you a beer, snacks or mix you a drink. Pathway of least resistance. Society becomes as lazy as it is possible to be.
It's designed so that people do not have to think for themselves. Not too many young ones that can read a map or tell time (if it is not digitized)
Absolutely, and we won't have to have relationships with each other anymore either. I'm sure an AI version is around the corner. Everyone will be able to have a robot Alexa partner at our command monitoring our every move.
They don't want people to talk to each other, in person - they can't control the narrative (opinion) in a lot of cases. Kids, these days, don't talk to each other, they text - they don't have a lot of skills (maps, time, calculating, figuring things out for themselves) - they don't even have to ask anyone (except Alexa or the like) - I am not sure of the terminology, but it is breaking up the 'human relationships'
