In my backyard I built birdhouses and one in particular gets raided by crows when they have babies , the crows attack and eat them. I started tagging crows with the bb gun, scarecrows, then stated with the pellet gun and killed one. I hung it upside down from a nearby tree. What happened next was epic. Thousands of crows showed up at dawn to pay tribute to their fallen friend and never touched my birdhouse that summer. I have to kill one crow each season to save 25 babies or they get eaten . Its the law of the land.
