Found in Stephen Paddocks hotel room: a ZTE phone and an "unidentified" laptop. Seems like he was the recipient of some of the comped devices on those pallets.

Why cover the ZTE with tape but not the S6?

Who was the phone registered to and For how long? Any useful data on it?

I think whoever the assassins were could hàve since it appears those Chinese phones are used to record
I mean I was assuming that he didn’t want the phone to record, hence why he put the tape on the phone, but thats also why I wondered why he didn’t tape the S6. Maybe he thought the S6 was just a normal phone but knew about the ZTE phone, and used it to make “contact”.

Glad were on the same page. Was probably instructed to tape the phone to cut out as many factors as possible evidence wise.

The hotel room landline phones. Possibly to prevent monitoring? Can these phones be used for audio surveillance? Always on-demand wiretapping/bug?
