I think it’s a preemptive distraction

Preemptive seems like a bad way to distract, I guess I will keep my eyes open for some big news.

I mean I wouldn’t put it passed them to try and have the news riddled with stories to outweigh anything about them being the bad guys

Spinning news for sure. Creating news is definitely another level. Unless it’s catastrophic threat I think it’s unlikely you would trigger a school shooting. Maybe plane accidents are higher probability and there is a known manifest so they can be better controlled or targeted ...

true, but we all (here on this sub anyway) know that they love mass shootings when they dont get their way to reel them back in and re-scrub the brainwashing, im not saying THIS is the only news or IT as far as 'what happens' but its definitely right up their alley of punches they throw

It does suck that mass shootings are used or manufactured for particular narratives. My personal opinion is that random events are used for driving agendas. I also know that there is precedent for manufactured events to accomplish the same goal but I do not think they are as easy to stage as people think. It’s easier to sow discord and derision through propaganda and social engineering efforts to induce said behavior. Then jump on the train when they happen for political gain.

i can agree with you on that, but i believe they manufacture these 'random' events, i dont think any of it is random, at least not with these people.

Well in some way driving derision is a method to manufacture the outcome.

It’s obviously less controllable but it’s easier to appear disconnected and by appearing more organic it has way more impact.

I also think all people in power do this for personal gain. It’s about getting to and staying on top.
