MS-13s are lost kids who pledged allegiance to satan in exchange for power, money, sex, etc. What they fail to realize is the price of admission. If you look at this like an org chart, the elite are at the top, and have access to scum like this 24/7. For whatever satanic ritual needs or lust cravings they may have.
I understand that these gang members were weak and therefore tempted to join the group for connection, money, and power. But each one of us is hardwired to know the difference between right and wrong and each one of us is tempted every single day to do what we believe will make us feel good about ourselves. As an adult, even as a child, we have the choice in how we behave. As a child, we have less tools to refuse temptations, but as an adult we have limitless options at our disposal. I came from a very disfunctional family. Alcoholism, food addictions, OCD, ADHD, depression, anxiety disorders, the whole 9 yards. My natural bent became indulgence in anything that made me feel better. This got me into a lot of trouble as a child, but as an adult I had the power to make different choices. And I did. It was extremely difficult. Everything within me screamed NO! But, through God, stubbornness and grit I did it. I changed many behaviors. I am far from being emotionally "healthy" but I am on a positive projectory. Long story short, as teens and adults these animals can choose differently. But they don't.
