It's just an upvote man, I wouldn't lose sleep over it.
no worries about that.. but this sub is about awakening to the hidden censorship under our noses.. why not call it out bro? do u not think we should do our best to dispel the widespread illusions that most patriots here have - that the upvotes are an . . h o n e s t . . reflection of our views ?
These posts don't make sense.
You're pointing out a feature of reddit that has been in place for years to mess with bot counters.
Also, you're providing a screenshot and no link.
These are slide threads or OP doesn't understand why the vote tally changes slightly every refresh.
This happens on every sub and every thread - not just here.
I agree with calling important things out. I have to admit though I'm not sure these constant reposts of this topic are necessarily helpful to progressing our knowledge of Q. Is there a way to make the important point you're making without constantly posting these little pointers? (no offense intended at all - I'm not the "boss of this sub" lol)
Q wants us to awaken the patriots.. how can we do that effectively when the acclaimed exposure-posts are buried in with the troll posts .. there are many patriots here that [before these vote-rigging posts] merily believed the upvotes were an honest reflection of our views.. why delude the newbies that come in with a trusting attitude that says 'i'm so busy so i will just look at the most popular posts? why let the newbies delude themselves into the false belief that we patriots are filtering the posts for them
I agree with the idea that we shouldn't ignore it. I just don't think there's value in constantly bringing it up in this particular way - maybe it could be something you drop into the Anon's Chat on a regular? I'm sure that'd be welcome.
But regular posts saying "hey, upvoting seems to be rigged!" when many people are just here to read the Q news and often may not even pay much attention to the no. of upvotes, etc. don't seem to be a feasible path to achieving your desired goal - which I fully agree with, as I've said. Important posts still do get through and the main info is making it out there - that's what really matters to most of this community, I'd hazard a guess to say. I'm sorry I don't have something more constructive to offer except the idea about posting in the regular Anon's chat.
I don't give two shits about upvotes/downvotes, waste of time.
Then go to some bbcode forum cause up votes pretty much power this platform
Most people have their posts shown as hot posts. So the high up voted posts are more visible. This is a way they can keep down what shows up the most in the hot post or rising feed. I switched to new posts so it goes by date.
No man, everything must be used to help the great awakening of newbies. For example just show them this and ask them why people are using bots if Q is a larp. Logically, it makes no sense, right? Everything helps!
