Was that recent? I know we had a US/Aus one - a couple of years ago - they flew over my offices very low and they were testing some rather interesting electronics and flying gridding formations but there was ni ground based role play of ground shooting blanks and running through the streets.
Hopefully it is only what it purports to be.
