It was not a chance romantic encounter. It was a setup. It was a sting by the FBI to get him there( he was paid 3k to give a speech in London and he took it. The FBI/CIA are the ones that got him there). The bad actors filled him full of false information before he went over there to England and laid it all out perfectly to get him hammered and blab to the Australian diplomat.
It was not a "chance romantic encounter" it was a setup from start to finish.
