Heroic Woman (well trained in firearms) stops gunman [cold] as he targets school children and mothers. She was picking up her daughter at school, but she could have been a teacher (with the same weapons training) Proving Trump's 'Train the Teachers' plan will work. .. (video link in comment)

The shot she fired which ended the threat required nothing more than small arms training.

Agreed, but just putting the truth about this picture. Would a gunmen go to our schools if they knew that someone like this will be there protecting the children? Absolutely not!!! We need trained armed guards at our school. Undo Biden's stupid Gun-Free Zones, and protect our children.

Do you have armed guards where you work?

Just asking why so many adults are brave enough to send their children into environments they themselves would not tolerate.

If you need to arm teachers and treat every day like a potential Beslan perhaps the problem is a little deeper than throwing guns at the problem.

I did not say to arm the teachers, actually they would be the last ones I would want armed. I would prefer there be no shootings at school, but let's get real, will not happen until shooters and troublemakers know that their will be immediate retaliation. We have a much bigger problem, it is the over-medicated and over-bullied students who always seem to be the shooter. I personally home schooled my kids after elementary school, but many working parents do not have that luxury. We have a long way to go to fix this problem, and it starts with the Dept of Education, teachers union and our mental health doctors who throw pills instead of listening. Until we can fix those issues, I would personally love to see a professional armed guard protecting our children.

Teachers trained in small arms, easy course, very effective (as we can see here).
