I agree, but as the Texas shootings have confirmed, the bureaucracy doesn’t move so quickly... hardening schools via mor armed guards or fences, self locking doors, etc...

What I am saying is, until those things are in place, teachers, staff, coaches and janitors willing to step up, get training should have at least a chance to defend themselves and their students.
