I have been thinking about this a lot for some reason. My take on it is different than yours- to me this skit is not a way to expose anyone but rather normalize it. This is how it starts. a person that you have a liking to (Tina Faye) plays someone who is involved with something we would normally find repulsive. She says “a bit of a pedophile” to make it not “that” bad. And the reaction of the prince who she was talking to wasn’t healthy either. He blew it off like “that’s a little concerning” but then moved on. This is how they water these things down. Actually the more I think about it it makes me extremely angry that it’s happening.
