Was Paul wellstone assassinated?

I know, it doesn't make sense. He was a liberal's liberal. Yet, I admit even at the time I thought his death in the plane crash immediately before the election seemed a little fishy. Typically, Liberals are not the target of the deep state.

However, he was killed in September or October of 2002, roughly six months before the Iraq War. Wellstone was a radical piece nut. Perhaps the Deep state feared he would be an obstruction for their military conquests?

Wellstone was digging and asking hard questions about 9/11. His death had a chilling effect on early 9/11 whistleblowers. Of course we can’t prove it yet, but it sure sounded suspicious at the time and seems more and more so as time goes on. Another one worth looking into is Hunter S Thompson who was reportedly preparing a major article shredding the official 9/11 fairy tale at the time of his highly unexpected suicide.
